- Dacquoise
- Feminine form of the French word dacquois, meaning 'of Dax', a town in southwestern France. A dacquoise is a dessert cake made with layers of almond and hazelnut meringue and whipped cream or buttercream.
- Tart
- English (West Midlands): from Old English teart ‘sharp’, ‘rough’. Americanized spelling of French Tarte: one who was sharp or severe.

- Her left arm was injured when she was younger, leaving it weakened and scarred. Her regenerative powers restored full function to her arm.
