== Description ==

Very pale skin, solid black eyes with no apparent sclera or iris. Under the spacesuit, a t-shirt and pair of light tactical pants. The shirt has the EDI Environment Management logo on the front left chest, and on the back is a large, full-color rendering of a smiling JFK as seen through the reticle of a 4x18 Ordinance Optics scope. "I love a parade." is written in Marain beneath the picture.

D doesn't understand "normal" romantic or platonic relationships on any level.

== History ==
Node of the Everywhere Mesh, statistical deviation causality ID D-443-ue021/N. Has an expert system resident in the suit, which can feed him tactical data on his environment and selectively upload and download information from the implants where his central fissure used to be. Thanks to these upgrades he "knows" over 300 languages, has a facility with alien technology, and is an expert at breaking-and-entering into things like spaceships. Occasional hints have been dropped that at one point his job was doing just that, then doing unpleasant things to the people inside the ships.

- Has no compunctions about committing actual straight-up murder.
- Strongly dislikes being manipulated, and will ignore emotions he feels are being played to.
- Distrusts external environments and vastly prefers his suit's conditions.
