1MG(F) Vosil Zakalwe is a player character in Bottom of the B'Inn. Formerly a linesman investigator in the Zein Armed Forces Infantry, Vosil left the exciting life of a military police detective to join the Thaumanautical Corps after being offered a promotion, better pay, and benefits for his extended family by General Yilim, the Overseer General of the Thaumanauts.

Vosil takes his job seriously. He's a military man through-and-through, as well as a decorated internal affairs investigator. He's fond of couching irony in technical and legal terminology, and most often will introduce himself as "from the Government, here to help you" and complete the sentence from there.

Performance reviews indicate that 1MG(F) Zakalwe tends to use the most direct possible solution to the problem. If he feels his job is best performed in a situation without force, he will minimize force. He has a love of theater, and has been known to "ham it up" for dramatic effect to extract information from suspects during interrogations. His disposition is, even after his conversion to a Thaumanaut, cheerful yet deliberate. He likes playing Bad Cop.

As a final note, it is a standing order to the Thaumanautical Corps that they are never to remove their suit around others. There is an interesting feature of the suits themselves as a magical artifact that they can, in fact, eat and drink through the helmet normally if such a thing is desired or required.

Description
A thick, heavy black leather-and-rubber suit. Apparently airtight and fireproof, with thick cotton-wrapped leather retention belts, a twist lock under the neck ring marked "EMERGENCY RELEASE" in five different languages, and a large ceramic-and-glass bubble helmet atop. The glass was once entirely clear but is slowly yellowing (and browning) from the inside. All that can be seen within is thick, roiling black smoke. The kind of greasy, heavy smoke you get when you set a person on fire.
On the left shoulder is the flag of the nation-state of Zein, its field of seven-pointed stars oriented toward the chest.
On the upper right arm is his rank emblem and "Vosil ZAKALWE" embroidered on a nametape.
The suit is warm, body-temperature to the touch. The metal parts are actively hot.

Quote
They locked the helmet, made sure I had air, and then the General asked me to close my eyes. He asked what I saw.

I told him the truth: I saw the world on fire. All life burns.

There was motion against the glass. 'Keep your eyes closed,' he said. 'You'll need them later.'

I was myth before a sword awoke from a stolen rocky womb.
I was killed before my home was scourged by western winds of war.
I was driven raving mad before dear Dot bounced off the cushioned walls.

( ( I ) )

I transgressed in sacred orchards to serve the folly of a hero.
I called on kings and deities to account for their misdeeds.
I died of humble fevers with craven whimpers on my lips.
I set off an outburst that echoed through the ages.
That outburst echoes still.
It shall echo evermore.
AS SHALL I.

I roamed the forests as I wished after Enlil starved the gods.

Nationstates of the land of Xuin, In search of the Fifth Ruler, Heir to the Republic.

This is mostly copied from the Roll20 handout.

Nationstate of Kynn
The place where our story finds it's beginnings, a small human-primary land of small settlements ruled by a central castle. Home to the Second Ruler, the land has, since their passing which coincided with the destruction of their wonder, fallen into kind of a quiet rut. They grow food and grow old. Lately, with the crowning of Lord Conway, the Guard of Kynn has become... Incredibly distrustful of outsiders. This might be viewed as some form of racism, but they're hardly a human exclusive nation. Just the majority. They also have been having problems with bandits, and people have expressed a dissatisfaction with how Lord Conway does his job. Also there are the rumors that he's working with dark magic.

The Shattered Fresco
Nationstate of Blyn
The Dwarven Mountainhome directly north of Kynn, these dwarves moved here, in a historical show of non-aggression, when pushed out of their lands by the people of Hōji. Instead, they mine the western half of the mountain range that divides the north from the south, as well as guard it's many passes. They have always kept out of the political game, instead just doing their jobs as guards and smiths, forging great examples of weapons and armor, culminating in their greatest work, the Martial Tombs. Their main export and trade is, to be expected, metal, stone, and equipment.

The War Tombs
It could be said that dwarves do not appreciate weapons and armor as much as they appreciate the craftsmanship. The dwarven lineage that lives in Blyn however, love weapons. They love armor. Siege weapons and books on military tactics, they horde as much as they can. The greatest of these collections is the War Tombs. Contained within are the greatest pieces they have ever built, practically peerless, weapons so finely made as to be artifacts. They have never been tested on another creature, but all of them are so fine that their quality is simply unquestionable. Occasionally, items from the War Tombs are given as gifts, ceremonial, to those that understand the draw and power of such objects. The last time the War Tomb was opened was for the crowning of the Fourth Ruler.

Nationstate of Rila
Closest Nationstate to the West, a Human/Merfolk coastal settlement, exports ocean based products.

The Tidepool Fields
Republic of Zein
To the North (for now), a Multiracial Citystate that acts as a center of Farming and Crafting for the states around it, producing many foodstuffs and a number of magical goods. A substantial military force keeps the peace, backed by a cabal of powerful warlocks, brought up from the people themselves.

The Planar Hall
The singular Wonder of Zein is its Planar Hall, a structure at the center of the state built upon a convergence of leylines. Most warlocks obtain their power by connecting themselves to an otherworldly patron, an individual on another plane of reality who grants them power and knowledge in exchange for servitude and sacrifice - A path that takes an individual decades of learning and work, and often leads to madness. Not so for the warlocks of Zein, who are organized under their military as the Thaumanautical Corps. The Corps imbues its individual members with a warlock-like connection to any of the Inner Planes themselves, directly, and lets the individual's mind decide the type of pact it is. The Hall is part training center and part temple. Each wing of the Planar Hall has a large shrine dedicated to one of the Inner Planes, with barracks for the members of the Corps bound to that plane. Understandably, the space is important to the military and political structure of Zein itself.

The centerpiece of the Hall is its Connection Temple.
The Temple is an unassuming space, with each Inner Plane having a small shrine around the three walls not containing a door. Secured with heavy bolts to the basalt floor are two simple but well-kept steel chairs, spaced just far enough apart for the occupants to be able to touch each other's shoulders without strain. One chair has a small container with a selection of colored grease pencils. It is here where recruits for the Thaumanauts meet with General Ismault Yilim, the man in charge of their orders, are issued their protective garments, and are inextricably bound to the Plane that will grant them the power necessary to complete their future work. Here, too, are those discharged from service unbound if they wish.

Nationstate of Hōji
Southernmost Nationstate, a Primarily Cat-Folk lordship, with other warm-temperature/mountainous/wetland/volcanic demi-human races. Originally dwarven lands, the citizens of Hoji landed in boats, a large band of refugees. Over time, most of the Dwarves moved north to Blyn, but keep strong ties with Hoji, even though the distance is great. Somewhat fueled by a strong rivalry in metalworks, with their secondary feature being specifically jeweled works. Originally led by the Akuto Family, they have now sworn in a new leader from the Tsura Branch Family.

Earthvein Mountains
One of the wonders of Xuin, a volcanic range dangerously close to Hoji and thankfully a coastal area, The Earthvein Mountains are home to Salamanders, Golems, Elementals, Fire-Element Dragons, Fire Giants, and the Flamebeard Dwarven Lodge. The Flamebeards live in The Caldera, inviting all that can withstand the flames to join them. Their exports all go to Hoji, raw materials they recover from the earth, specifically rare metals and stones that form in the area. The Flamebeards themselves are terrifying fighters, monk grapplers with gauntlets of rock and metal fused to their arms, from literally dipping into pools of lava to search for materials.

Settlement of Rymn
Northeastern-Most Area, A frigid land of arctic tundras and taiga forestlands. Not part of the Republic of Nationstates, they maintain a neutrality granted to them by the First King, who did not wish to see the lands spoiled. Somewhat lived in, somewhat ruled over, and somewhat guarded by a number of nomadic families that trade in animal materials and powerful alcoholic brews to the outsiders.

Silverspring Grove
One of the many wondrous secrets of Rymn, a loose 'village' of Fauns, who live in symbiosis with the strange, semi-magical creatures that populate their grove, kept green and warm by hotsprings. What few, rare visitors they get are treated well as long as they respect the land, and usually leave forgetting most of their experiences, owing partly to the magic of the grove, and partly to the Fauns' masterful understanding of the flora and fauna around them, leading to the development of many powerful... 'recreational substances'.

Fiacla na Déithe
The Godsteeth. yes, this is partly to mess with Situation.

Clans of the Godsteeth
Situated along the oceanside in the northwestern hemisphere, the Godsteeth are less a centralized city-state and more a collective of insular meritocratic clans settled on the steppes/highlands around the massive, warped stone trees that sparsely dot the landscape. The residents are, for the most part, tieflings supposedly descended from the humans who initially settled the region and were slowly changed over the centuries by prolonged exposure to a given tree (although the veracity of these claims is subjective). They tend to be largely insular, both on the political landscape and between their own clans, preferring instead to see to the sustainment of their own villages. The commerce of a given clan varies on a case-by-case basis, but overall the nation's chief export seems to revolve around fishing and masonry/architectural work.

Capital of Mug Ruith
While the vast majority of family and clan settlements are generally no larger than small villages, the largest and most prolific is basically capable of standing on its own as a city-state. The city enjoys a far larger complement of foreign commerce and traffic due to its size and proximity to the coast. Its governing body consists of a leading family and a small council of elected and commercial representatives. Even in light of its' habitually insular people, Mag Ruith has a slowly growing community of immigrants and foreign merchantry. The tree itself is absolutely mountainous, wrought in distorted black stone and easily dwarfing any of its brethren. While the natives' claims that it houses a sleeping colossi are novel at best, a scattered few still claim to have heard it creak as it slowly shifts at night...

Fate: /* Age of the Innsmouth */

History can be muddled at times in the heat of the moment. Thus, a timeline has been drafted to better understand it. As always, this is a wiki, so events can be freely added.

Age of the Innsmouth
;-5300 AR / Ar Ciel Third Era, 3772
:The Innsmouth comes in contact with the dying planet Ar Ciel. An exchange of science and culture is made and a working, synchronised shadow copy of the SH server of Sol Ciel is constructed. With this shadow copy and a tower emulation system, Mule Teiwaz Artonelico and a select number of volunteers elect to depart on the Innsmouth, while a few of the researchers stay behind.

;-5297 AR / T.C. 4753
:Following the disastrous events of the Miltian Conflict, a traumatised Rubedo takes the first ship he can find out of the system, winding up on the Innsmouth.

;-5925 AR
:The Everywhere Mesh evaluates the Innsmouth's local causality and assigns a newly-imported Node, D Everywhere, to board the ship covertly and prevent an apocalyptic event centering around the craft. The Node's job under his previous name and life was as a vacuum assassin, and he is attired and equipped properly for similar work here. D fails his task entirely, captured by Innsmouth security and delivered to a cryostasis cell near the security control facility.

;-5293 AR
: Earthfall. The Innsmouth's Magical Singularity Engine suffers a critical malfunction and the ship drops out of hyperspace on a crash course with the planet Golarion. Using backup power to adjust their course puts them on a slingshot trajectory with its local moon, of which a close scrape critically damages the ship and kills its velocity as it passes, after which it falls into the planet's atmosphere and breaks up in re-entry, scattering debris across what came to be known as the continent of Avistan before crashlanding in western Sarusan. The impacts scar the land immensely, causing the Age of Darkness and raising a rocky shelf from Sarusan's sea, where tectonic motion gradually disperses the broken ship underneath.

Age of the Elves
;-4294 AR
:The darkness created by the dust in Golarion's atmosphere finally settles, bringing light to a broken planet. The Innsmouth survivors and their descendants take to the surface and form nomadic tribes. The elves choose to travel far to the east, over the mountains and into forested land.

;1732 AR
:In the lands that would later come to be known as Kova, a travelling priest of Desna arrives and mingles with the native populace, causing the first foreign influence in the region through worship of the Starsong. This also led to the creation of a small cabal of Desnans simultaneously blessed and cursed with great power through song&mdash;power great enough that it burned their life force down to nothing&mdash;known as the Starsingers.

;2908 AR
:The elven nation of Krava is united from disparate clans as the Kravatian Empire. Through history, exploration ships are wrecked passing through the Zemeth Gate, a great tidal barrier that affects the minds of those who pass through it, and the survivors who wash up find themselves treated with derision as second-class citizens.

;4585 AR (approx.)
:The Kravatians, claiming the need to expand their territory, attempt to pass through the mountains separating them from the western peninsula which they have historically called Kova; they struggle with the mountain's self-healing properties before finally blasting a clear path through, starting the Occupation War.

;4595 AR (approx.)
:The Kravatian Queen of the time is present at front lines when they discover an ancient city considered holy ground by the native Kovans. She also learns that the powerful artefacts within are what the King was looking for, but this information is gleaned from the dying breaths of an assassin sent to ensure she would "tragically" never return. She begins working in the shadows with the Kovan elders to bring about a peaceful end to the war.

;4600 AR (approx.)
:The Occupation War abruptly ends as Kova's forts fire upon Kravatian supply caravans and demand they deliver a message to the king: Kova was not a land to be pillaged for profit, and instead would become it’s own country, ran jointly by the exiled Queen and a number of natives that allied with her knowing she meant no further harm.
:The Kovan capitol of New Eltrin is founded atop the ancient city, serving as fortified defensive line should Krava try to lay claim to it again.

;4606 AR
:The death of Aroden. While the isolated continent's denizens are largely unaffected, attempts to divine the future become muddled and unable to discern information more than a few weeks in advance. The Zemeth Gate fades away, leaving clear seas and horizons, along with an influx of foreign vessels and introduction to modern knowledge such as the Absalom Reckoning calendar.

;4608 AR
:Runica Argensolde is born to a couple that formed during the Occupation War, who have settled in the new port town of Mosulk.

Age of the Guilds
;4630 AR (approx.)
:The Kravatian Queen present during the Occupation War dies of old age. A new queen rises in her place to continue to represent the military; between an influx of violent incidents caused by monsters and other magical phenomena, along with clashes between the Imperial and Native Kovans, she takes a cue from the Pathfinder Society of Absalom and establishes the Guild, composed of members of both sides and split amongst six guildhalls to cover a variety of general and specialised tasks.

;4673 AR
:Vincram Solomon is born in a small village in the southwest reaches of Kova.

;4675 AR (approx.)
:The previous leader of Guildhall Drakhan dies of unknown causes. A new leader named Gamello rises in their place.

;4688 AR
:Runica Argensolde's health begins significantly deterioriating. She winds up bedridden after ten years of fighting a wasting disease with no clear cause or cure.

;4690 AR
:Vincram Solomon joins Guildhall Drakhan as a researcher.

;4695 AR
:Wren is born, a scion to a noble family of a distant land.
:Dr. Vincram Solomon goes on indefinite leave from Guildhall Drakhan, citing personal obligations but in reality because he caught Gamello selling guild secrets to Kravatian spies.

;4699 AR
:The Plague of Mosulk occurs. A handling incident of an illegally-transported artefact under the oversight of the Argensolde Trading Company creates a plume of black dust over the port city's skies. As it settles, the streets are evacuated and windows boarded&mdash;of those infected, the fatality rate is 99%. The only publicly known survivor is the Argensoldes' daughter Runica, who makes a miraculous recovery from her existing illness.

;4700 AR
:Dacquoise is found by Guild Ercinee members and taken in. Her origins are unknown.
:Runica Argensolde develops an innate ability to channel necromantic energy. After some time spent learning to control it, she seeks out the guild's assistance in understanding it, eventually becoming a field researcher for Guildhall Mogaru.

;4705 AR
:Wren's draconic heritage manifests with magical powers and cessation of age. After an attempt on her life, she is forced to flee and goes on a journey seeking clues as to where her dragon ancestor may have gone.

;4715 AR
:Present year.

While largely consistent with normal Pathfinder RPG rules, there are a few house rules that have been invoked. These are recorded to the best of our recollection as follows.

Character Creation
* Ability scores are generated by rolling 4d6, rerolling any 1s (including in subsequent rerolls) and dropping the lowest number thereafter. This is done seven times and the second-lowest is dropped before assigned to abilities as seen fit, giving a rather high-powered spread while leaving a significant flaw.
** For quick character generation, if Dicethulhu is in the channel, use <code>^roll 7#4d5+3 short droplow</code> and drop the second-lowest result thereafter.

* Characters' hit points are not rolled&mdash;they gain their maximum hit dice + constitution modifier each level.

* Characters get two traits, along with a pair of campaign-specific traits denoting their heritage and guild affiliation. You can get a third trait in conjunction with a drawback.

* New characters start at level 6, with a budget of 16,000(?) gold pieces for equipment (both subject to change). However, the maximum price you can pay for any given item varies, based on what you pick as your free guild trait (see below).

* The following custom classes are available for use: Reyvateil and Kukaigun.

Guild Hierarchy and Heraldry Traits
As mentioned in character creation, along with the standard two traits, all characters get a free pair of traits defining their heritage and guild affiliation. This is copied verbatim from the Obsidian Portal wiki and formatted appropriately; it is uncertain how much of this continues to apply.

Guild Hierarchy
The Hierarchy is both important and unimportant to the Guild. For those that require it, especially the Imperials, it helps show who has seniority in a mission, and thus who is often to be addressed with additional information, complaints, requests, et al.

(Note 1: Mission allowances do not stack, they will likely average out amongst the members, and also will not be guaranteed to be the maximum amount, based on the party, the quartermaster, and any attempts to socialize oneself some more funds.)

(Note 2: The Maximum GP of magical items one can own does not apply to Minor Consumables like Potions and Scrolls, Basic [+1] Enchanted Gear or Intrinsic/Permanently Bound items. If unsure, ask.)

;Guild Trainee (0 levels gained while with the guild)
:Despite the fact that one is likely not new to fighting at this point, the Guild has a ‘Trainee Period’, regardless of skill level, to make sure one is accustomed to ( and fit for ) the guild life. During this time, if on one’s own, one regularly is given lower end jobs, usually helping exterminate vermin in a bar’s cellar or pulling weeds. ( at least you usually get paid AND get a nice meal for the weed pulling. )
:Benefits: The guild is essentially 'feeling your personality out' at this point. They want to know what kind of jobs you can and can’t do, and will often excuse bad behavior, to a degree. Maximum 1000gp worth of magical items owned.

;Guild Initiate (1 level gained while with the guild)
:At this point, the guild has accepted you, and gives you slightly more rope on your leash, although most quests will still not take you very far from your guildhall as of yet. The guild is more likely and willing to spend small resources to ensure you complete your job, and might even allow you to lead around trainees to take part in low level missions that require more than a single pair of hands.
:Benefits: The guild trusts you. To a point. Before every mission you may receive up to 500gp in consumable items. Maximum 2000gp worth of magical items owned.

;Guild Member (2 levels gained while with the guild)
:The guild now trusts you to be able to travel to surrounding cities, villages, forts and guildhalls on your own. Jobs get better, even the mundane ones, and you’re allowed to accept jobs from other guildhalls, provided you are willing to pay your own travel expenses.
:Benefits: Before every mission you may receive up to 1000gp in consumable items. Maximum 4000gp worth of magical items.

;Guild Veteran (4 levels gained while with the guild)
:You have lived long enough, done enough, fought enough or learned enough to make a name for yourself not only with the guildhalls but with the surrounding areas. You can expect to be requested for missions on occasion, and the guild considers you a trusted companion. You can now request certain guild services above and beyond the regular care package all guild members receive. At this point, you probably have a private room in the guildhall or maybe even a shared home outside of the guildhalls shared with other guild members.
:Benefits: Before every mission you may receive up to 2000gp in consumable items and guild services. Maximum 6000gp worth of magical items.

;Guild Hallborne (6 levels gained with the guild, or 'born of the guild')
:To some guild members, the ones from other lands or from lowly upbringings, this is something to aspire to. A hallborne is a sibling of the guild, receiving treatment and respect further even than a veteran. Beyond this lay only the path of guild heroes come and gone. No matter where you go, the guild will do it’s best to give you support and aid. You may live wherever you like, inside or outside a guildhall. No where is too far away to locate you for work, and they respect any desire a Hallborne may have for secrecy or hermit-tendencies.
:Benefits: Up to 3000gp in items and services, with an additional 500gp per level. There is no real limit to the worth of your magical items beyond this point, but they still exercise caution. Treat as 8000gp worth of magical items owned + 1000gp per level.

Note: It is possible to have no place in the guild hierarchy, in which case your starting equipment is dictated by normal rules for character creation, but you do not have any guild allowance.

Guild Heraldry
Guild Heraldry is used to determine where you come from, both in the world, and as a member of the guild. When one joins the guild, you are essentially cutting off allegiances with your original home to become a member. However, the guild values a sense of family and belonging, and encourages it’s members to remember where they came from, usually because the work that a guild member does keeps that place safe, in case of the areas inside Kova. Your heraldry affects certain things, like goods and services you can request from the quartermaster, as well as other perks...

First, one picks a guildhall, then an 'origin', either Imperial, Native, Outsider or Guildborne.

;Behemoth
:Guildhall Behemoth encourages strength, be it physical, mental or social. They are more aggressive, and also tend to ‘overcomplete’ jobs on occasion. Why chase away some pests when you can make an example of them? Behemoth also boasts a fair number of skilled workmen. They are the ones to turn to when looking for freshly forged equipment, be it armor or weapons, as well as a number of offensive devices and items. (The Forge)
:Emblem: A strange form, it’s always hard to describe, like an elephant.. but with claws? It is a beast, whatever it is, with teeth… or… fangs… claws? Beaks? Clutching a cracked orb. Plain White Wax with the beast imprinted into it in Black Wax)

;Ercinee
:Guildhall Ercinee are the pathfinders, the travelers, the guides and pilgrims. It would be a mistake to call them ‘passive’ however, as others might do. When challenged, especially during a mission, Ercinee tries to ensure you have the tools necessary to fight your way, tooth and claw, out of any predicament. Their offerings include tools for travel, minor magical trinkets, things that would help you be prepared while not weighing you down. (The Trade-Jacks)
:Emblem: A bird, trailing fire from it’s wings and claws, with multiple outlines drawn around it to make it seem radiant. Green Wax)

;Bukavac
:Bukavac are stalwart defenders, but they also understand the need to be subtle. They often suggest taking a less direct path to victory, while keeping one’s blades sharp at all times. Like Ercinee, they offer a wide assortment of tools and trinkets and services, but often have an offering of stranger things, with such a close proximity to Mosulk and the Port. It’s even been suggested they have their own secret hidden port for smuggling things just for the guild. Baseless accusations. (The Black Market)
:Emblem A pair of eyes and horns with ‘wavy patterns’ around them. Dark Blue Wax)

;Mogaru
:To the untrained, untaught eye, one might assume that the Capitol City Guildhall is the one in charge. This would be incorrect for two reasons. One, the Guild is commanded by a council of members from each Guildhall, and Two, their Guildhome is Drahkan, a place much easier to defend in times of need. Mogaru however does not fail to meet expectations. They do not take a mission considering defeat. Perhaps this could be considered a failing. They do not think so. Mogaru’s supplies come in the form of exploring gear kits, things one could use to get around any terrain you might come across. A wise thing to offer considering they often are the ones who accept jobs to delve into the massive ruins beneath the Capitol. It is also spoken that Mogaru has a large collection of ‘safe’ (read: approved by Drakhan Researchers) magical items. (The Armory)
:Emblem: What appears to be a large upright creature, in profile, with spines running down it’s head and back. A flame symbol is drawn inside it’s chest. Red Wax)

;Drakhan
:Guildhome Drakhan is a marvel, a massive spire of dense, raw stone, magnificently shaped, tunneled and built into by the Guild, Drakhan is a place of study, and the guild’s safe haven. Mysterious, unidentified and suspicious items both magical and otherwise are all brought here to be inspected. If they are safe, they are often returned to the finder, provided it does not go past the guilds guidelines for safe ownership of extraordinary equipment. Drakhan is a home of the patient and paranoid equally. They can offer anything any other guildhall might offer, since they can request it quickly enough, but what they really have is a deep vault of wealth, monetary, information and material. (The Vault)
:Emblem: A dragon with wing’s spread, hovering over a tower. Silvery Wax)

;Ravager
:Guildhall Ravager, living in symbiosis with the Natives, much that Ercinee does with the Imperials, they have a very different outlook compared to the other guildhalls. They believe in trying to be prepared for the unknowable, to be able to adapt to any situation. The fact that they live in the manastorm desert helps with this, as they are often having to accommodate both in clothing styles and crops with the wildly shifting weather and seasons. The things they offer differ based on the current weather pattern of the Manastorm. (The Nomadhome)
:Emblem: A triad of symbols, mostly formless, in a triangle formation. The top symbol is an orb with wings, the bottom left symbol a triangle with claws coming out of the bottom, and the bottom right symbol a square that almost looks like it’s made of two clutched fists. Orange Wax)

;Imperial
:An imperial is just that, originally a member of one of the Kova Imperialist’s many villages or forts, you are likely used to a life of equal parts leisure and work. The life of an imperial is an oddly balanced one. An imperial upbringing is likely to stick with you, a ‘city’ lifestyle and a rather hardworking mentality, supported by the imperial way of bestowing power and property on those that earn it.

;Native
:The natives are, all things considered, an odd bunch. Whether a believer or not, it is impossible to ignore that compared to the rest of the world, Kova as a landmass is entirely unusual and out of place for this world. The ‘old believers’ continue to insist that this is because the natives of Kova are not of this world. The non-believers simply think that Kova’s high ambient magical potential is the reason that there are so few humans and other ‘bland’ types around. Their lives are centered around a tribal society where people of different races find themselves sliding easily into roles rather stereotypical for their kind, but find encouragement to broaden their horizons and try to push themselves to learn new things often.

;Outsider
:There is not much one can say here. Outsiders are outsiders. They admittedly are sometimes less trusted than either Imperials or Natives. The specifics here really depend on where you come from and how well known those lands are.

;Guildborne
:For one reason or another, you were borne into the guild. This does not necessarily mean you were BORN into the guild, although it’s certainly an option. Sometimes children are brought back from missions, and sometimes they are simply left on a Guildhall or guild member’s step. Orphaned one way or another, these children are brought up in a lifestyle more competitive than the Imperials, but also more tight knit than the tribal Native lives. One who has been Guildborne is not EXPECTED to join the guild, but they certainly encourage it as opposed to say, living a ‘normal’ life.

Like before, if not a member of the Guild, one can opt to show their affiliation to another cause&mdash;if any&mdash; in place of a guildhall.

(GM NOTE: It was 2 AM when I wrote this, and you know what? No, I’m probably not going to better explain what any of that means, you likely will pick a guildhall either close to where your character lived, or one that sounds nice. ’ -’)

Rules Revisions
* Gloomblind Bolts is available to non-fetchlings as a discoverable spell (see Third Party Content). (2015-08-28)

New Magic Item: Armament Scrolls
Scrolls tend to have limited utility in a martial conflict. They are easy to slice in twain if somebody tries to draw one to cast it, and can be difficult to even find the time to draw them to begin with. Fortunately, the Guild's artificers have made a technical breakthrough, creating an affordable and accessible method to bind scrolls to a given piece of equipment with a wax seal, unique to each guildhall.

Armament scrolls can be crafted by anyone with the Scribe Scroll feat and proper Guild training. They have a craft DC of +3 compared to a regular scroll and a base cost of just 10gp (multiplied by spell level and caster level as usual). However, they are limited in that they are bound to the piece of equipment they are made to enhance, and thus can only carry spells that have that equipment as a target. It is a standard action to break the wax seal to an armament scroll and read the inscription to trigger the item.

Armament scrolls are made of rice paper and very fragile, easily ruined by exposure to water or inclement weather unless given a smear of waterproofing glue (+100gp). They have an AC of 8, 1 hit point, 0 hardness and a break DC of 5.

Armament scrolls are also hard to safely detach from an item without being destroyed in the process, meaning they cannot be transferred to another item or used to scribe the stored spell into a spellbook except by succeeding at a Disable Device check with a DC of 20 + the scroll's caster level. Taking 20 on this check is possible, demonstrating long and painstaking work to remove the armament scroll in question.

Third Party Content
Third party content, including that from Dungeons & Dragons editions 3.0 and 3.5, has to be checked and cleared by the GM before use, and is subject to modifications from how they are written. This space will be updated with authorised and/or altered content as it comes.
Description
A walking, talking anthropomorphic white fox with four arms. Wears a matte-black, slightly-loose suit that contracts when exposed to vacuum or other adverse conditions, and has a vast array of pockets that can store any number of small objects. The upper back contains an environment pack which can deploy a breathing apparatus as well as two small maneuvering jets. The suit's lower back is home to a small array of packs, each of which can store a few pounds of gear. A long, fluffy tail is present. The pants and sleeves are cargo-like, with various types of pockets. Electromagnetic combat boots finish off the bottom of the suit.

Relationships
Fate generally likes people and has a nice, friendly disposition towards anyone well-disposed to him. Opponents beware, opponents beware, he's coming.

History
Node of the Everywhere Mesh, statistical deviation causality ID U-775-17653/A. Friendly but distant, and in open or public settings very aware of incoming threats. Not a compulsive liar like some other nodes, but tends to have an inappropriate joke to hand at any given time. Polite enough, willing to deal with most people on an even footing, but has a strong distaste for anyone he labels a "fucker". Considers himself a good person, and also considers that evil men will talk your ear off. Good men will end you without a word. He's a former Combat Medichanic with the International Confederation of the Green Crystal, and as such has skills in both hurting and healing.
This is a story told from many perspectives, some which may not see eye to eye, but will come together against a force that does not take their individual wants, needs, beliefs or races into account.
Provided they survive against the things they encounter that they cannot yet understand, this will be a story of epic proportions, equal parts love and hate, creation and destruction, science and magic.
Cutefinder (subtitle: The Chronicles of Kova and the Islands of the Largest Ocean) is a campaign run using the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game system, administrated by Mr. Q Bear and taking place in the campaign-specific region of Kova, located on the western peninsula of the once-isolated continent Sarusan. The story centers around the ancient but active ruins that lay beneath the rocky plateaus of the region, the six guilds excavating them, as well as the circumstances around the formation of these ruins so long ago.

This campaign is in the process of being migrated over from Obsidian Portal, so a lot of the links are external at present.
Node of the Everywhere Mesh, statistical deviation causality ID D-443-ue021/N. Thanks to these upgrades he "knows" over 300 languages, has a facility with alien technology, and is an expert at breaking-and-entering into things like spaceships.
